The Judicial Service Commission is a tool created for pursuant to paragraph 112 (1) of the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania of 1977. In addition, the Operations Act of Court No. 4/2011 gives it to the Judicial Service Commission.

Interpreting diverse Laws and execution administrative decisions. Hearing and deciding cases filed before the courts of law.
