22 New Vacancies At HUMULIZA Organization, November 2020- (Various Posts)

HUMULIZA is a local, non – governmental and non – religious organization that offers psychosocial support to orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs). The word “HUMULIZA” is Kihaya and means “Console”. Humuliza Organization is a non-governmental organization registered in Tanzania under the NGO Act no 24 of 2002  with certificate No. 05NGO/0586 dated 21st day of December, 2005.

JOB VACANCIES 

1. JOB TITLE: Data clerk (20 posts) 

HUMULIZA is looking for a competent data clerks who can support in data entry of program activities

Duties and responsibilities:
● Directly enter data in the reporting systems as may be directed by M&E Officer
● Enter data in all organization designed systems including excel sheets, word power point
● Collate data from the volunteers as may be assigned by program staff 
● Arrange program beneficiaries’ files in a designed order as may be directed by program staff 
● Assist in data collection, collation, review, and analysis as may be assigned by program staff
● Participate in project management exercises including but not limited to data collection, baseline, designing, monitoring and evaluation
● Assist in office administration duties including but not limited to typing, printing, photocopying, cleanliness, and other related duties.
● Perform any project duties as may be assigned by program staff

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
● Diploma holder / certificate, a form four leaver with a Certificate of Secondary School Education (CSSE)
● Possession of a certificate in computer science, ICT and related field
● Confident, dynamic, team player and self-motivated
● Able to write, read and understand both English and Kiswahili languages
● Willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines
● Aged 18-35 years

2. JOB TITLE:  DREAMS Coordinator (1 post)

The project coordinator (focal person) is expected to coordinate all DREAMS activities under HUMULIZA organization

Immediate Supervisor: Program Manager
Mode of Employment: Contract for one year

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Work closely with Local Government Authorities (LGAs), school heads, and PTAs to ensure DREAMS program is well understood and supported
● Make sure that screening and enrollment of beneficiaries exercise is done to all selected schools in collaboration with teacher, caregivers/caretakers and CCWs.
● Work with the Pact DREAMS Coordinator to facilitate the HURU training to the teachers
● Share all necessary reporting tools with schools and ensure they are completed within the agreed time
● Visit schools in the councils for supportive supervision and monitoring the delivery of HURU lessons
● Arrange the date, time, logistics, and participate in distribution of HURU kits to the beneficiaries at the schools
● Work with CCWs to collect all necessary forms and ensure that CSO M&E staff have supported in the entering the HURU pre-/post-test data into DHSI2.
● Make sure that HURU clubs are established and supervised in the selected schools in collaboration with HURU teachers
● Visit the families of DREAMS beneficiaries to verify their existence and refer them to other Kizazi Kipya activities as necessary
● Work with M&E to enter vocational scholarship data are punched into DHSI2 and then submits these to the Pact DREAMS Coordinator for review and planning for course scheduling with VETA.
● Coordinate enrollment process of adolescents girls (15 -17) out of schools in collaboration with ICAP.
● Work with CSO finance team to source vendors to supply the CSO procured materials for DREAMS
● Record and keep all the documentation from vendors in a safe place and forward the copies of vendor/procurement documents/forms (e.g., quotations, vendor selection, proforma & tax invoices, delivery notes, receipts) to the Pact DREAMS Coordinator
● Collect all the forms required for DREAMS material procurement and distribution from Pact DREAMS Coordinator
● Using the Pact defined process and tools for DREAMS (including packages of materials and forms), procure the CSO provided materials for DREAMS Educational Subsidy Program by school
● Arrange with the Pact DREAMS Coordinator to receive and verify materials procured by Pact, cross checking with lists of intended beneficiaries for all schools
● Arrange distribution dates with the schools and PTAs
● Distribute all DREAMS materials on specific designated days 
● Collect all the signed forms from beneficiaries after they receive the educational subsidies (e.g., resolve all issues related to faults, shortage of materials)
● Through CSO M&E staff, ensure that data on service delivery is entered using the Pact DREAMS defined processes and tools as provided by the Pact DREAMS Coordinator.
● Collect success stories and reports and give them to the Kizazi Kipya program manager and other DREAMS implementing partners
● Conduct bi -weekly sessions with VETA students
● Conduct ASRH session with VETA students. 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
● B.A Degree/Diploma in Education, Development Studies or related fields of studies graduated from a recognized University,
● Minimum two years relevant experience,
● Experience in working with NGOs is an asset.
● Good general knowledge, excellent oral and written expression/ communication, interpersonal skills, patience and courtesy and a very wide range of more specific behavioral skills,
● Attention to the person, interaction, ability to transmit information, plus keen organizational sensitivity are required to understand quickly the beneficiaries’ needs,
● Good skill in organizing and facilitating user friendly training sessions, meetings, dialogues and conversations.

3. JOB TITLE: Monitoring and Evaluation officer (1 Post)

Humuliza is seeking for a qualified and energetic Monitoring and Evaluation personnel to perform activities under USAID KIZAZI KIPYA

Duties & Responsibilities:
● Maintaining proper documentation of program including periodic progress reports filing and MVC data base through KIZAZI KIPYA program.
● Ensuring that all data is entered into MVC database and synchronized into Data Management System on timely manner.
● Conducting data verification and periodic data audits to ensure data quality always.
● Ensure that quality services are provided to the PACT KIZAZI KIPYA
● Cooperate with other staff in the area of Monitoring and Evaluation to make sure the developed M&E tools are well utilized.
● Update M&E organization tools.
● Prepare Monitoring and Evaluation report every month.

Managing M&E systems:
● Facilitate the program team in the development, implementation and updating of Program performance monitoring plan.
● Facilitate the program team in preparation of annual and quarterly work plans in line with organization plan and budget.
● Tracking the implementation of the approved work plans to ensure timely delivery of services to MVC
● Ensuring availability of relevant data collection tools and ensuring consistent use of relevant tools in data collection and reporting processes. 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
● Diploma, Advanced Diploma, BA in Statics or other relevant field
● At least 2 years of experience in area of case management and child protection ·         Progressive experience in program development professional, and include working with CSOs and other Community Based Organizations in the above field.
● Experience in developing and facilitating interactive training programs regarding to M&E.
● Energetic team player capable of working with local communities and LGAs
● Demonstrated understanding of OVC/MVC services and challenges faced service delivery
● Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
● Literacy in computer (Programs in Database management, data entry systems).
