JOB VACANCY 

JOB TITLE: Field Monitor

Location: Kigoma, Tanzania 

Purpose of the job:
To monitor the delivery, distribution, documentation and reporting associated with all commodities supported to refugees. Work hand in hand with relief committee members

Duties and responsibilities:

1. % Time:  10% 
Major Activities: 
Ensure that assigned distribution site /chute is adequately clean and that all necessary working tools are available prior to food distribution
End Results Expected:
Clean working environment 

2.% Time: 30% 
Major Activities: 
Based on the approved distribution plan inform the relief committees on the quantities of food expected and ration scales. 
End Results Expected:
Beneficiaries knowledgeable on their entitlement 

3. % Time: 40% 
Major Activities: 
Oversee the distribution process in collaboration with the relief committees and ensure proper rations are distributed 
End Results Expected:
Beneficiaries receive right entitlement (FBM reports) 

4. % Time: 10% 
Major Activities: 
Supervise receipt/offloading of food/non-food commodities to ensure correctness of quantity, content and quality as per the waybill 
End Results Expected:
All key documents are well documented timely 

5. % Time:  10% 
Major Activities: 
Compile periodical reports and ensure their accuracy and timely submission these include daily reports, weekly reports and end of distribution circle reports 
End Results Expected:
Available of accurate reports

Qualifications:
● Degree or Advance Diploma in Procurement, Accounts, Social Sciences, Education or related field from recognised Institutes
● Experienced in working with humanitarian context Experienced in working with commodities program or Accounts.
● Good communication skills
● Analysis skills
● Interpersonal relationship skills

Work environment:
● Complete Travel and/or Work Environment statements if applicable.
● The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically by 100%
